Campos Dental is a private dental practice at 70 Edgware Way, Edgware, London HA8 8JS. Founded on by Dr Jacqueline Jacobs (GDC 155186) — a dental surgeon with three decades of clinical experience in Brazil and the United Kingdom — the practice provides general, cosmetic, restorative, and orthodontic dentistry to patients in Edgware and the surrounding North West London catchment. Campos Dental is registered with the Care Quality Commission, all clinicians are registered with the General Dental Council, and the practice is a member of the British Dental Association — and an Invisalign and Enlighten Evo certified provider.
Originally from Minas Gerais, Brazil — where she ran her own practice for ten years — Dr Jacqueline Jacobs rebuilt her career in the UK from the ground up, qualifying again to EU standards and working as a senior Dental Nurse and Practice Manager along the way.
That journey shapes the way she practises today. Every patient deserves to feel heard, never rushed, and never surprised by a bill. Jacqueline runs the practice day-to-day with her husband Steven (Director), supported by Associate Dentist Dr Shani Mehta, Hygienist Justyna Jarnot and Trainee Nurse Juliana Marzuquim.
The practice itself is modern, calm and accessible — designed around patient comfort, with ramp entry, full wheelchair access and gentle, low-noise equipment in every treatment room.
Patients come to us from across Edgware and the surrounding catchment — including Stanmore, Mill Hill, Burnt Oak, Harrow, Colindale, Borehamwood and Barnet — and from the wider North London area drawn by transparent fees, in-house plans and gentle, attentive care — including warm support for nervous or anxious patients who haven't seen a dentist in a long time.

Campos Dental opened in . That is younger than most of the practices our patients tell us they considered before registering with us — and we think it's worth a paragraph, because the question "is a newer practice a riskier choice?" is one we hear honestly enough to want to answer in writing.
The clinical team is not new. Dr Jacqueline Jacobs has been practising for over thirty years, ran her own practice in Brazil for more than a decade before retraining to UK standards, and has been on the GDC register (GDC 155186) since 2007. Dr Shani Mehta qualified from Birmingham in 2015 and has gained hospital experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Medicine at the Eastman Dental Institute and the Royal Free Hospital. The years of clinical experience the team brings into the chair add up to more than the practice address has been registered for.
What is new is the fit-out — a state-of-the-art clinic. We were registered with the CQC in 2022 with current equipment — digital intra-oral scanners, low-noise handpieces, modern radiography — installed from the start rather than retrofitted into older premises. There are no legacy NHS contracts on the diary either, which means the time we give a routine new-patient examination is the time it actually takes, not the time the contract allowed.
Continuity of care matters in dentistry; so does whether the practice you are looking at was designed around how dentistry is delivered in 2026, or in 1996. We are honest that there is room for both in a healthy local market — and equally honest that for many patients, the modern fit-out plus thirty years of clinical experience is the combination they were looking for.
